Green Science: Solar Robot

Build a working robot powered by sunlight while exploring the science behind renewable energy. Assemble the included solar panel, motor, gears, arms, legs, and mechanical components, then watch the robot move when exposed to direct sunlight. The design can also be combined with recycled household materials to create imaginative robotic creatures and other unique constructions. Building and experimenting with the robot seamlessly introduces solar power, energy conversion, mechanics, engineering, and robotics while strengthening problem-solving, logical thinking, creativity, and fine motor skills. No batteries are required. A small crosshead screwdriver is required but not included.
