DIY Ice Skating Rink Engineering Kit

Build a motorized winter wonderland while exploring the mechanics behind motion with this hands-on STEM engineering kit. Assemble a miniature ice-skating rink powered by a motor and interconnected gears, then watch felt characters including a snowman, penguin, and gingerbread figure spin and “skate” around the rink. Constructing the working mechanism seamlessly develops understanding of gears, simple machines, circuitry, mechanical engineering, fine motor skills, sequencing, creativity, and problem-solving. Decorative pieces add an artistic element to the project, combining engineering with imaginative winter crafting. Includes 2 AA batteries.
